We stayed at one of many hotels lined along Haeundae Beach in a room with unobstructed ocean views. Spent every night on the balcony, which is where I’m typing right now, listening to ebbs and flows of the waves intermingled with nightly live music below while being soothed by the butterfly kisses of the oceanside breeze. It’s a location perfect for watching people stroll along the boardwalk or socializing in the myriad of outdoor lounges without having to move, apart for the occasional bathroom breaks.

I saw (and heard) personal fireworks go off every night which sounded more like a bird’s whistle than a BOOM. I’m sure there are a few vendors who sell these near the boardwalk, just make sure you get your money back if you get a dud (like the dude in the video got).
